The Illawarra Ukulele Club

It's time to kick off the new year with our first club meeting of 2012.

We'll be looking at a couple more classics from the 70's, from the sublime to the ridiculous, for our new songs.
For our old songs revival, we'll look at Nos. 110-120 from Book 2:

110. Ode to Joy* (This is the one we're playing with the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, for those going along)

114. Down On The Corner
115. Dirty Old Town
116. Blue Moon

Simon teaches ukulele every Thursday Evening at 7.00 - 8.30pm except the Thursday straight after the Ukulele Club nights.

This means he teaches 3 Thursdays each month. The groups are small from 4 to 8 people and are very rewarding for those who want to get ahead. The price is a very reasonable $15

Come at 6.30pm, have a warm up, get a drink/snack, wear a bright shirt and bring a "UKE".
A few spare ukuleles are available for sale @ $25.00 each
Lessons begin at 7.00pm sharp 'till 9.00pm.
